Signed: 'Arthur Boyd' lower right
Provenance: Collection of the artist
'If we compare these small late works with the copper paintings of 1973-1975, we can map the distance Boyd has travelled since his first days on the Shoalhaven. These are the works of an artist who has completely mastered the visual world around him, who had come to understand his surroundings so thoroughly that he no longer feels compelled to paint every detail exactly but can give us imagined Shoalhaven scenes.'
