Brett Whiteley is one of Australia's most renowned artists. His work is represented in the Australian National Gallery, all Public State Galleries, most Regional Australian Galleries, the Tate Gallery of London and MOMA in New York. His awards are numerous and include the Italian Travelling Scholarship in 1960, as well as three McCaughey Prizes, and the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes on multiple occasions.
