This painting depicts the country of Elizabeth's birth known as Pawalla, the The Great Sandy Desert. A variety of the landscape and food is shown here, including goanna, known as widdoga, and snake, known as wanna. There are people, the brown U shapes, with coolamon full of food, while the majority of the painting and the landscape it depicts - is dominated by sand dunes, or talis.
