Biography

1902 Born in Melbourne
1918-23 Studied at the National Gallery School, Melbourne
1925 Travelled to England and Europe on a travelling scholarship. Enrolled at the Royal Academy School, London, studying figure drawing and oil portraiture
1927 Returned to Melbourne. Became a member of the Victorian Artists Society. Lived and painted in a cottage in the Dandenongs
1940 Joined the Melbourne Society of Women Painters. Met Sybil Craig, who became a close friend and taught her linocut techniques
1978 Died in Melbourne
