Judy Cassab is represented in the National Gallery of Australia, most state galleries, many regional galleries as well many other public collections through Australia and overseas. 

She has been the recipient of numerous awards including the 1961 and 1968 Archibald Prize.

Girl and Mirror 2007 utilises the subject’s reflection to create a second portrait within the painting. The joyous red and white pattern of the girls shirt fills the foreground with colour and is countered by the simple black hat which is echoed in profile.
