These more abstract of Judy Cassab's were seen at the Rudy Komon Art Gallery in July 1967.  In Red and green of 1965 a greenish scooped shape with its own green moon just above water level seems immersed in a brilliant red sea. The sea itself only flows when an object tests its buoyancy in it; Cassab obtains a fluidity and hovering effect by flooding colour varying and fluctuating transparencies. Long a master of the deployment of the opaque and diaphanous, Cassab was now able to establish transience on the grand scale.
