Biography

1926 Born in Sydney
Studied East Sydney Technical College, on a scholarship
1946 Awarded the NSW Travelling Art Scholarship. Completed the Diploma of Art with Honours
1947-50 Studied at the London School of Arts and Crafts, and travelled throughout England and Europe
1954-57 Returned to Australia and taught art in Ballarat and Melbourne
1972 Spent the year living and painting in England and Europe
1980 Lived and worked in Europe
